If you look at the word ‘Psychology’ in the dictionary you will find it as the science of mind and behavior. And in a non-dictionary language, it’s all about understanding what makes people tick and how this understanding can help us address many of the problems and issues of life. So here we are with an Intriguing Outlook on Spiritual Psychology
What is Spirituality?
Spirituality is a sense of connection with something bigger than ourselves and it typically involves a search of meaning in life which can result in positive emotions such as peace, awe, contentment, aliveness, gratitude and acceptance. People may describe a spiritual experience as sacred or transcendentor simply a deep sense of aliveness and interconnectedness.
Some may find that their spiritual life is intricately linked to their association with a church, temple, mosque, or synagogue. Others may pray or find comfort in a personal relationship with God or a higher power. Still others seek meaning through their connections to nature or art. Like your sense of purpose, your personal definition of spirituality may change throughout your life, adapting to your own experiences and relationships.
What is Spiritual Psychology?
Spiritual Psychology or Transpersonal Psychology is the sub-field of psychology that integrates the transcendent aspects of human framework with modern psychology. In short, it means learning how to identify, recognize, and navigate successfully within the Context of Spiritual Reality. Practically, it means learning how to surrender—or let go of—anything that disturbs one’s peace. When things are in our minds, all we need to do is calm ourselves, accept the situation and face it, and this can be achieved by attaining spirituality.
Do you have answers?
Why is one man sad, and another man happy?
Why is one man fearful and anxious and another full of faith and confidence?
Why is one speaker outstanding and immensely popular and another mediocre and unpopular?
Well, is there an answer to these questions? Certainly.
The answer is the well-being of mind, inner peace, ability of staying calm and the power of letting go things which are not in control. And all of this can be achieved by spirituality. Now, the question comes how?
The problem with people is that they think spirituality is a hard nut to crack but the reality is different. Spirituality can be attained by very easy norms. It’s just a game between the mind and the thoughts wandering in it. There are very little things which we need to adapt and remove from our lives in order to be spiritual.
